Super Fans!

It was a very busy and exciting weekend at The Arc Westchester!

On Friday afternoon, Scott Rogowsky, comedian and host of the popular HQ Trivia app, visited our offices to surprise his biggest fan.

Samantha Makris, who lives in one of our group homes, befriended Scott online, and the two have been messaging back and forth for several months. Inspired by Samantha’s story and dedication to her work as the official Arc Westchester Ambassador for the Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley, Scott stopped by to meet her and her friends and learn more about our work. He even brought aluminum pull tabs to support Samantha’s volunteer efforts with the Ronald McDonald House. It was a very fun day!

Game Day!

We also got into the game day spirit with our First Annual Super Bowl Party! Over 40 participants from our Recreation and Respite programs cheered on their favorite team, enjoyed snacks, pizza and desserts and had a rousing group sing-a-long during the halftime show!
