“Love is in the Air” Paint & Lunch!
LOVE was in the air at The Arc Westchester in Hawthorne on Saturday, February 6. Pinot’s Palette in Stamford joined us to hold a Valentines-themed “Paint and Lunch” event! This was the second time Chad from Pinot’s Palette has come to help us show off our artistic abilities. We cannot wait to have him back again in the spring. Before the 2-hour painting event, the day started off with music, Valentine’s Day activities, and lunch. Everyone had an amazing time!
Of course, all safety protocols were in place. The tables were social-distanced, temperatures were taken along with completion of a COVID-19 questionnaire at drop-off. All participants wore masks throughout the day, except when eating lunch. These events are very successful for our individuals to remain engaged with their friends and explore their artistic talents in a safe environment. We plan to have another event like this in the coming months, so continue to check our website for more safe, socially distanced activities that we have coming up! LOVE still rules!
