Evaluations and early testing makes all the difference
he Children’s School for Early Development is approved to provide Early Intervention evaluations, ongoing service coordination, and Early Intervention services under contract with Westchester County. If your child is found to be eligible for services by a state-approved evaluator, you will work with a team of professional staff to develop a personalized service plan. An ongoing service coordinator selected by the family assists them in locating and scheduling service providers, chosen from the county list, to implement their individualized family service plan.
From birth to 3 years of age, evaluations may be performed at home or in community setting;
From 3- 5 years of age, evaluations may be performed by a team of professionals at our centrally located site or at community settings.
