QIDP RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Description:
- The QIDP Residential Program Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Clinical Team Leader and will manage operations and complete QIDP responsibilities for assigned residential programs.
- Management responsibilities include: The supervision of Assistant Manager and other DSP staff, ensuring the physical, social, and emotional needs of the people that live in the house are met and maintain a safe environment.
- As QIDP, will be responsible for the development, implementation and revision of residential habilitation plans, Individualized Plans of Protective Oversight (IPOP) and monthly notes for all people living in the homes. This include the oversight of the implementation of the plans, data collection and training the DSP staff on all new and revised plans.
Requirements:
- Requires Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or related Human Services field. OR a minimum of 7years experience as a QIDP.
- Master’s degree preferred. At least two(2) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- At least 5 years experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities.
Salary/Pay:
$17.50/hr
REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:
- Provide meaningful instruction to program participants in assigned Day Habilitation Programs.
- Develop and implement community based/in-house programming in accordance with program participants needs, preferences, and desires as per their Life Plan.
- Act as the liaison for the Behavior Specialist assigned to the program. Under the supervision of a qualified Behavior Specialist (i.e. BCBA or LBA) assist with the completion of functional behavioral assessments and the development of person-centered behavioral support plans in assigned programs.
- Assist the Behavior Specialist with summarizing behavioral data, training employees in the areas of applied behavior analysis, and implementation of The Arc Westchester’s strategic initiatives as they relate to behavioral services.
- Provide all services in accordance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- Requires a High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Valid NYS driver’s license required.
- This position is an entry level position for the department.
- One (1) year experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of applied behavior analysis and basic computer skills including Word and Excel required.

SPEECH PATHOLOGIST
Responsibilities:
- Provides diagnostic, evaluative and therapeutic services for a broad spectrum of speech disorders for children with developmental disabilities.
- Participates in completing and updating the Comprehensive Functional Assessment.
- Provide in service training to staff as needed/requested and or assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have considerable knowledge of OPWDD regulations.
- Professional- Graduation from an accredited College or University with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech Pathology.
- Licensed and currently registered as a speech Pathologist by New York State Department of Education as a person eligible for licensure by virtue of holding a certificate of clinical competence.
- Must have car and NYS drivers’ license.

ONE TO ONE AIDE/ CLASSROOM AIDE
Responsibilities:
- Substitutes needed for early childhood program serving children with disabilities in Westchester County.
- Job duties include play and learning activities in a preschool classroom working under the direction of the Teacher.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children and knowledge of developmental disabilities preferred.
- Requires HS Diploma, college is preferred but not required.

SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor comprehensive program for full day children.
- Administer psychological evaluations.
- Plan and collaborate with staff for full day preschool classes.
- Assist social worker in intake process, parents’ visits, family contacts and communication.
- Provide parent education workshops.
Requirements:
- Requires Permanent NYS Certification in School Psychology.
- Knowledge of Autism/PPD and principal methods for teaching.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with children, staff and families.
Pay/Salary:
- $25.27 – $27.47/HR
