Facilities Director
Description
The Facilities Director oversees the completion of all maintenance and capital improvements for all The Arc Westchester owned and leased properties. Responsibilities include coordinate the identification and budgeting of physical plant needs for all facilities including OPWDD Residential Reserve for Replacement (RRR) funding. Coordinate development, renewal and tracking of all vendor service contracts. Assist in real estate search for new development and relocations. Develop and maintain database on structural and mechanical systems on all agency owned properties. Coordinate with the agency to develop and implement security systems for selected properties. Supervision of Maintenance staff. Oversee Physical Plant Assessment/Maintenance of all sites: Conduct site visits and all related maintenance businesses to all The Arc Westchester locations as needed.
Requirements:
Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid NYS driver’s license are required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Ten (10) years’ experience in construction or building trades, three years of which in supervisory capacity. Organizational, budgeting, analytical, communication and computer skills required.

$46.71/per hour
GUARDIANSHIP ADVOCATE
Description:
- Provide advocacy services for those individuals for whom Arc of Westchester serves as Corporate Guardian through NYSARC, Inc. and will assist in all outreach and program planning efforts as required.
Requirements:
- Requires a valid NYS driver’s license and one(1) year of experience in Human Services with an understanding of the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Proven ability to write and speak effectively and ability to follow policy and program requirements of the Department and the Agency.
- Ability to use various computer applications and a basic understanding of database applications and internet. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with individuals, families and service provider.
Salary/Pay:
- $20.67/hr
