On September 28, 2026, supporters and friends gathered at the prestigious Knollwood Country Club in Elmsford, NY for Golfing for Kids, The Arc Westchester’s annual fundraising event benefiting the Children’s School for Early Development. While the weather did not cooperate and our foursomes were unable to golf, the spirit of the day remained strong as sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners came together in support of children and their families.
Thanks to the incredible generosity and commitment of our Golfing for Kids community, we continue to raise essential funds for the Children’s School for Early Development, helping provide early intervention, education, and therapeutic services for young children with developmental disabilities and their families. Your support helps provide the tools, resources, and opportunities children need from birth to five to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Where Your Support Makes a Difference
The Children’s School for Early Development provides educational, social, and support services for children from birth to five years of age and their families. Golfing for Kids helps provide essential funding that allows the School to maintain its standard of excellence and offer these critical services at no cost to families.
The Children’s School operates with a significant annual deficit due to a continued lack of equitable funding from New York State. Special events like Golfing for Kids, along with grants and generous community support, help bridge this funding gap and ensure the School can remain open, active, and effective in providing young children with the learning opportunities, resources, and supports they need to build a strong foundation for lifelong educational and developmental success.
