We collaborate with local, state, and federal associations to educate members of government and providers of services on issues of concern to persons with developmental disabilities and their families. Issues addressed in the past include budgetary and financial needs, staffing, healthcare decision-making, estate planning, and discrimination against persons with developmental disabilities. We proudly undertake these advocacy efforts in conjunction with The Arc US on the federal level and The Arc New York on the state level.
