Golfing For Kids 2026

Building on the extraordinary success of last year’s Golfing for Kids, The Arc Westchester Foundation proudly invites supporters and friends to join us on Monday, September 28, 2026, for Golf for Kids 2026, our annual golf outing benefiting the Children’s School for Early Development. In 2025, this inspiring event raised over $240,000 to support essential early intervention, education, and therapeutic services for children from birth to five at no cost to families. This year’s highly anticipated outing will once again bring together community leaders, sponsors, golfers, and friends for a meaningful day of friendly competition, connection, and shared purpose — all in support of programs that help young children with developmental disabilities build strong foundations and reach their fullest potential.

How Golfing For Kids Supports The Arc Westchester’s Children’s School for Early Development

The Children’s School for Early Development, provides educational, social and support services for children from birth to five years of age and their families. The funds raised from this event help the Children’s School maintain its standard of excellence, at no cost to families. The School runs at a significant deficit every year, due to a continual lack of equitable funding from New York State. As a result, we rely on additional funding through grants and special events such as Golfing for Kids which allows for The Children’s School to remain open, active and effective in providing young children with the learning opportunities and supports they need in order to achieve lifelong educational and developmental success. Just a few examples include…

Technology and access to on-line learning materials and activities used to enhance instruction.

Class trips to integrate community learning with classroom instruction.

Furniture, therapeutic and art supplies, and toys for all classrooms.

Staff development workshops and conferences presented by leaders in the field of early childhood special education.
