We’ve kicked off Spring and Summer 2025 with a series of exciting activities! Take a look at some memorable moments from our Daycation Bowling Tournament, tennis lessons, the Greenhouse at 265, and a whimsical Alice in Wonderland celebration.

Our Daycation Group had an unforgettable time at the Bowling Tournament and BBQ hosted at Break Point Bowl & Entertainment in West Haverstraw! We teamed up with our friends from The Arc Rockland, Venture Together, and The Bowling Buddies Program for a full day of fun. The event started with The Star-Spangled Banner, a warm welcome from the Mayor, and some serious strikes on the lanes. After bowling, everyone enjoyed a delicious BBQ, hit the dance floor with a DJ spinning our favorite songs, and celebrated with medals and certificates for all!

Our Yonkers Center’s Annual Spring Ball brought Alice in Wonderland to life with incredible costumes, whimsical decorations, and non-stop joy.  Huge thanks to our amazing staff for making the magic happen!  Day Services Director Robin Burnett said, “Food, fun, and lots of dancing. All had the time of their life!”

The Blind Brook Girls Varsity Tennis Team volunteered with participants of The Arc Westchester teaching tennis moves.

Things are blooming beautifully at The Arc Westchester! We’ve been planting, watering, and watching hard work grow in a greenhouse at our Hawthorne headquarters. Each leaf and sprout is a reflection of our care, dedication, and pride.  Watching these gardens grow is meaningful, therapeutic, and empowering. Everyone has a green thumb!
