HABILITATION INSTRUCTOR/ Sub-Driver
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community based/in house programming in accordance with the Individual’s needs, preferences and desires as per the individual’s Service & Habilitation Plan.
- Provide services in accordance with all relevant regulations.
- Has the responsibility of transporting people supported to and from program on an ongoing substitute basis.
Requirements:
- Requires H.S. Diploma/GED and a valid NYS Driver’s License. AA degree and experience working with DD population preferred.
Pay/Salary:
- $19.06/HR
PROJECT SEARCH INSTRUCTOR
Description:
- Provide Community Prevocational Services and Community Employment in accordance with OPWDD and ACCES-VR.
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct services to individuals in accordance to their ISP and Habilitation Plans.
- Develops and writes Individualized Habilitation Plans, attends ISP and other program meetings, monitors and records daily and monthly progress notes.
- Maintain records in compliance with The Arc Westchester, OPWDD and Medicaid regulations.
- Collaborates as part of team with internship managers, steering committees, advisory councils and families.
Requirements:
- Requires a High School Diploma/GED; AA or BA degree in a related Human Services field is preferred.
- Requires one-year experience working with IDD population.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License.
Pay/Salary:
- $18.37/HR
PROJECT SEARCH COORDINATOR
Responsibilities:
- Oversees all quality, compliance and regulatory requirements related to Community Prevocational Services and Community Employment in accordance with OPWDD and ACCES-VR.
- Implement classroom instruction of Project Search curriculum.
- Oversee internship opportunities.
- Provides direct services to individuals in accordance to their ISP and Habilitation Plans.
- Develops and writes Individualized Habilitation Plans, attends ISP and other program meetings, monitors and records daily and monthly progress notes.
- Collaborates with internship managers, steering committees, advisory councils and families.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling or a related Human Services field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Requires five years’ experience working with IDD population and a valid NYS Driver’s License. Supervision and staff development experience preferred.
