Residential Services Director
Description:
- The Residential Services Director oversees the delivery of services to individuals living in assigned residences and assist with ongoing operations of the Residential Department. Ensures the delivery of person-centered residential services. Ensures that services are provided and documented as per government regulations, laws and agency policy, and that billing requirements are met. Supervises Program Directors, Clinical Team Leaders and Community Living Coordinators. Be available 24/7 for emergency situations and incident management.
Requirements:
- Requires a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Public or Health Administration or a related human services field plus at least 3 years of related supervisory or management experience and at least 2 years of clinical experience.
- OR a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field, with at least 10 years of management experience in residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities with significant administrative experience overseeing multiple residential programs. Knowledge of developmental disabilities and the delivery of person centered esidential, habilitation and healthcare services. Ability to effectively communicate professionally, supervise, mentor and train staff; as well as effectively prioritize, delegate and complete multiple assignments in a timely manner.
Salary/Pay:
- $49.45hr
REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:
- Provide meaningful instruction to program participants in assigned Day Habilitation Programs.
- Develop and implement community based/in-house programming in accordance with program participants needs, preferences, and desires as per their Life Plan.
- Act as the liaison for the Behavior Specialist assigned to the program. Under the supervision of a qualified Behavior Specialist (i.e. BCBA or LBA) assist with the completion of functional behavioral assessments and the development of person-centered behavioral support plans in assigned programs.
- Assist the Behavior Specialist with summarizing behavioral data, training employees in the areas of applied behavior analysis, and implementation of The Arc Westchester’s strategic initiatives as they relate to behavioral services.
- Provide all services in accordance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- Requires a High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Valid NYS driver’s license required.
- This position is an entry level position for the department.
- One (1) year experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of applied behavior analysis and basic computer skills including Word and Excel required.
Pay/Salary:
- $22.40/HR
RESIDENTIAL BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
Description:
- The Residential Behavior Technician implements behavior-analytic services to the people supported under the close supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as well as providing direct support services to the people supported in the program.
Responsibilities:

Pay/Salary:
- $20.25 – $22.25 per hour
CERTIFIED DIETICIAN/ NUTRITIONIST
Description:
- The residential Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist assesses residents’ nutritional needs and food patterns based on age, activity level, and special circumstances resulting from health related conditions including disabilities, diabetes, high blood pressure, food allergies, and obesity.
Responsibilities:
- For assigned residents, the certified dietitian/nutritionist plans for and directs the provision of food appropriate for physical and dietary needs and provides nutrition counseling and recommendations.
- For assigned residents, the dietitian/nutritionist plans menus, directs the preparation of food to meet dietary needs and trains residential staff. Ensure that each assigned resident receives a balanced and nutritious diet, served at appropriate times and in as normal a manner as possible.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in dietetics/nutrition with a minimum of six months of experience, OR an Associate’s degree in dietetics/nutrition with at least eight years of experience.
- Must be Certified as a Dietitian-Nutritionist in New York State. A NYS Driver’s license is also required.
Pay/Salary:
- $29.23 to $42.32/HR
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS (DSP) – PER DIEM
Responsibilities:
- Duties include assisting individuals with their leisure time, health care, safety, and self care needs in residential settings and in the community.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED and a valid NYS driver’s license for minimum 3 years. (Note: 2-year NYS Driver’s license with no points will also be considered)
Pay/Salary:
- $17.50 PER HR
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS – DSP: Full-Time/Part-Time
