Description:

  • Oversees all quality, compliance and regulatory requirements related to Community Prevocational Services, Community Habilitation Services, and Community Employment in accordance with OPWDD and ACCES-VR. Develop and implement classroom curriculum and instruction that will assist individuals to move towards employment. Utilizing Person Centered Planning techniques as well as assessment tools will be able to assess crucial areas such as vocational skills, vocational behavior, independent functioning, functional communication and interpersonal behaviors. Individuals will be assessed in a set of activities that are designed to help transition from Community Prevocational Services toward employment. Provide direct services to individuals in accordance with their Life Plan and Habilitation Plans.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
  • Requires a valid NYS Driver’s license, and at least three(3) year experience working with I/DD population.
  • Experience providing employment services to persons with I/DD and supervision and staff development experience preferred.

Salary/Pay:

  • $22.38/hr
