Responsibilities:

• Assist with development and implementation of classroom curriculum and instruction that will assist individuals to move towards employment.
• Utilizing Person Centered Planning techniques as well as assessment tools will be able to assess crucial areas such as vocational skills, vocational behavior, independent functioning, functional communication and interpersonal behaviors.
• Individuals will be assessed in a set of activities that are designed to help transition from Community Prevocational Services toward employment.
• Provide direct services to individuals in accordance with their Life Plan and Habilitation Plans.

Requirements:

• Requires High School Diploma/GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Requires a valid NYS Driver’s license, and at least three(3) year experience working with I/DD population.
• Experience providing employment services to persons with I/DD and supervision and staff development experience preferred.

Pay/Salary:
